4 Nations Restaurant in St Albans, Hertfordshire is an independently owned restaurant that opened its doors in July 2014, run by the Carroll family, with brothers Vincent & Kevin Carroll at the helm who have over 26 years experience in the restaurant business between them and were born and raised just outside of Mallow, County Cork in Ireland. The Carroll family share a love of traditional, wholesome and hearty food, hence where the concept to serve the best of English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh fayre was created, using only great quality ingredients, prepared and served to you within a beautiful Tudor beamed building dating back to 1401. Vincent & Kevin are passionate about using the freshest ingredients possible and are proud to support fellow independent and local, quality suppliers and producers for everything from the meat to dairy to vegetables and even the beverages. Their traditional menu options change regularly based on seasonality and availability, offering diners a great selection of choice with each visit, whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, business related function, getting together with friends and family or just a "why not" occasion. The historic building was once said to be used by the Abbey's monks to sell their real ale made in the grounds of St Albans Abbey Cathedral - 4 Nations Restaurant is located on the first floor within the courtyard.
