We popped in for my boss bday meal. It was very quite, but on arrival we walking into a young lady cleaning the tables, making use of her time I guess. She was brilliant at her job, very polite, and still had a sense of humour. (Sorry, didn't get her name) Food was quick and all very tasty.

Delicious food but dissapointed with the skinny chips. Large golden crispy chips or wedges would have been ideal. Or even baked potato with sour cream. We were pleased to have been able to sit by the window overlooking the river. We would like to return to sample the beef rib. Grand Central is one of the better restaurants in the area. Good food good location good river view.

Maybe a Friday night at the start of the month wasn’t the most hip and happening time to go, i confess I tried a new (ish) in town competitor because it’s easier to park, they were fully booked to 21:00hrs and I was a little disappointed to wank into your restaurant to only find one other table occupied at 19:20, apart from pricing and parking, what’s happened... Food was ok, service was ok, atmosphere... hmm Still a great option but needs some buzz...

The ribs were perfect but the menu stated Crab Stack Burger as an entree. What comes to my mind when I read "Crab Stack Burger" is more like a crab cake or chopped crab meat served as a burger. What we received was a soft shell crab batter fried and served. A WHOLE CRAB on a bun!!! The menu said nothing like this but implied it was a burger. Needless to say, that part of the dinner was terrible and more than £5 for a pint of Peroni is over priced for an average beer. The server was a really nice person and was on top of things but for the price we paid, the atmosphere should be something a bit more than graffiti paint
