Juliet’s Garden originally started as a small tea garden in an idyllic spot, and has now grown and firmly established itself as a popular and highly attractive restaurant, still boasting breathtaking views across the harbour, and indeed, most of the other islands. Situated just above Porthloo Beach, 15 minutes from Hugh Town (just below St. Mary’s Golf Course), Juliet’s Garden is one of the island's most loved establishments, enjoyed by day visitors, holiday makers and locals. The restaurant has beautiful, terraced outside seating as well as a large and warm converted barn loft for the cooler days or evening dining. The Balcony Room can seat 20 guests in bistro style comfort whilst offering panoramic views from all tables. The room can also be booked for private parties and exclusive dining. Evening service sees the restaurant take on a slightly more sophisticated approach whilst retaining the relaxed, candle lit atmosphere for which Juliet’s Garden is renowned. The evening menu specialises in steaks, fresh fish & shellfish cooked on the char-grill, as well as excellent vegetarian meals. Local lobster is available and on occasion needs ordering in advance. The restaurant caters for all allergies and dietary requirements if prior notification is given. Booking in the busy months is essential.
