The New Inn

The New Inn is Tresco’s friendly local pub that offers great food and beverages. Filled with guests and locals all year round, it is very much the heart of the island community. In addition to regular live music, it also hosts the island’s beer and cider festivals. The New Inn also offers bed and breakfast accommodation. The menu offers the best of both land and sea. Quite literally in the case of the Tresco Surf & Turf, a magical combination of succulent Bryher lobster and juicy char-grilled Tresco beefsteak. Other menu items include crab claws, potted shrimps and fish stew as well as other local delicacies such as the Cornish pork and Tresco partridge sausage roll. Along with cracking new dishes, there are still the old favourites such as beer-battered fish and chips, Cumberland sausage and mash, and the New Inn burger, produced from our own grass-fed beef herd.
