Set in the stunning scenery of the Derbyshire Peak District and just a short walk away from the wonderful Chatsworth House and Gardens, The Devonshire Arms at Beeley is a picturesque country inn at the heart of village life. It offers the charm and character of an historic inn with a contemporary Brasserie restaurant which is modern, bright and relaxing while the Inn is cosy and inviting. The Malt Vault houses which can seat up to 12 guest is ideal for a more private celebration. The 14 bedrooms are chic and comfortable and a perfect spot to enjoy a stay on the heart of the Chatsworth Estate. The original part of the Inn which has been kept to the original style with open fires in winter, low beamed ceilings and a general 'cosy' feel to it. Chef Patron Alan Hill has a background firmly rooted in the preparation and cooking of the finest ingredients to award winning standards. With an eye on the seasons and being able to call on some of the freshest ingredients from local well known suppliers. The wines are exceptional and a purpose built wine room displays some of the exciting labels that have been selected from the award winning Devonshire Cellar and there are some real gems to savour. Plus a good choice of value for money, easy drinking wines are available, several by the glass. Cask ales include a local brewed Chatsworth Gold by Peak Ales, and a selection of other local cask ales. Tables are on a first come first served, however, tables may be reserved in advance for the evenings.
