This gorgeous little quayside restaurant overlooks Brixham harbour and is in close proximity to Brixham Quay. Not surprisingly, the house speciality is the freshest and most succulent seafood. All the fish is sourced locally and comes fresh off the boat every day - everything is superbly cooked to bring out the subtle texture and flavours of the seafood. Simple, elegant and delicious, the quality and freshness speak for itself. Plates are hearty and generous. There is also a private dining room - available for small parties of 8 to 14 guests.

Myself and my husband went for our anniversary. I had the Neptune Dish (mixed shellfish platter) and my husband had fish and chips, which wasn’t on the menu but they happily made it for him. They also gave us free pudding as an anniversary gift. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely little place with a friendly welcoming feel and fantastic food.

I had a delightful meal last night at The Poopdeck restaurant in Brixham. Their speciality is seafood, however, other food was on offer should you not want this. The plates were generously loaded with wonderfully fresh seafood, my fellow diners and I had monkfish as a starter and skate and red mullet for main course, all served with tasty sauces and the freshest ingredients, truly a memorable meal. The waiting staff, Kelly and Lily, deserve special mention as their attentiveness and friendly disposition certainly helped to make the evening something to remember. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

had a great meal The Neptunes Feast for 2 at the Poopdeck, lovely fresh shellfish and fun to eat, although a bit messy but aprons supplied, all in all very reasonably price and would def go back again to try more dishes

We booked the Poop deck restaurant as we were staying at Woodlands camp site. We have been before 2 years ago. A fantastic little restaurant on the quayside. We had children with us and everyone enjoyed their meal. A fabulous choice of fresh fish, cooked amazingly. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone and look forward to our next visit. Thanks guys for a great evening. Sharon Ward Giles
