This gorgeous little quayside restaurant overlooks Brixham harbour and is in close proximity to Brixham Quay. Not surprisingly, the house speciality is the freshest and most succulent seafood. All the fish is sourced locally and comes fresh off the boat every day - everything is superbly cooked to bring out the subtle texture and flavours of the seafood. Simple, elegant and delicious, the quality and freshness speak for itself. Plates are hearty and generous. There is also a private dining room - available for small parties of 8 to 14 guests.

Great seafood and personal service made our first visit to the Poopdeck very enjoyable. If you are a fish lover I would recommend a visit and take advantage of the Brixham fish.

I had been raving about my previous visits to the Poop deck, so booked a table for a group of friends and was not disappointed... the Neptunes feast of sea food is fresh, delicious and the Pinot Grigio is a great choice to accompany the meal. Great variety on the catch of the day board, and cooked to your preference. Staff very friendly and always willing to assist with any request.

We really enjoyed our first ever visit to the Poopdeck. I had booked for my son's birthday and without me requesting any special arrangements we were greeted by a table decorated for a birthday celebration overlooking the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food superb. My son shared a Neptune's feast with his girlfriend, I didn't think they'd get through it there was so much in the serving. I had the catch of the day with salad - 8 fillets of fish - which was delicious. My younger son had Skate with king prawns in a paprika and garlic sauce and even this fussy 12yr old ate the lot. Everything tasted fresh and I'd say was very good value. We'll certainly be visiting again. Thank you to all at the Poopdeck for making it such a lovely, special evening.

Myself and my husband went for our anniversary. I had the Neptune Dish (mixed shellfish platter) and my husband had fish and chips, which wasn’t on the menu but they happily made it for him. They also gave us free pudding as an anniversary gift. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely little place with a friendly welcoming feel and fantastic food.
