Bringing African food to Poole in a stylish yet traditional way using time honoured cooking methods, wrapped up with first class dining service, striking design and an accessible atmosphere, Zim offers the vibrant and diverse food and culture drawn from Southern Africa with heavy influences from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique and Malawi as well as the south eastern islands of Mauritius, the Seychelles, Madagascar and the Spice Island of Zanzibar. A traditional wood-charcoal Braai is the main focal point of the kitchen: it provides huge versatility to cook a wide range of grilled meats and fish. Cast iron Potjies allow for traditional stews and curries to be cooked and presented in a unique way. This is blended with traditional sides, vibrant and superfood salads for truly new and “good for you” food.
