The team at Limetree Kitchen takes pride in their ‘nose to tail’ philosophy of using every part of the animal, to create unique dishes with the highest welfare standards of the animal in mind. Their Small Plates offer a more varied choice of dishes, less constricted by the limitations of a set two or three course menu, providing you with a taste of Limetree Kitchen’s signature style of cuisine. This more relaxed approach to eating out stays true to their love for creating exciting and unique food in line with the restaurant’s nose to tail ethos. Here’s your chance to experiment with many new taste experiences in one sitting, perfect for sharing or enjoying on your own, with portions that are small in size but big on flavour!

Sorry food, imaginatively presented, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Great atmosphere with excellent service - would definitely recommended this restaurant. It deserves to do well.

We've not been to Limetree for a year or two but were delighted to revisit and sample the new-style menu. The food has always been really well cooked and presented in the past, but somehow it's got even better. I really enjoyed the tapas style approach, especially as it makes it so much easier to steal my partner's food on the basis that we're "sharing"! We chose 2 tapas dishes each for each course, which might sound like a lot, but there's no rush. Limetree doesn't put a limit on the time you spend enjoying your evening with them. Such a nice thing when so much of our lives are rushed. They also had an amazing selection of Gins, which looked really great too. All in all, a memorable evening. Thank you!

I enjoyed meeting a new friend for a chatty lunch in this delightful rustic cosy place. It has a cheerful scrubbed unfussyness and a fresh-from-the-blackboard feel to the menu of a selection of tasty sharing plates (which change regularly). Favourites the goats cheese and apple on brioche, the ham hock in a broth and a different treat with a very rich bone marrow on soda bread. Washed down with a pink refreshing pomegranate gin from a selection of aromatic local varieties. The service was very friendly and relaxed (not the fastest admittedly but that's ok). We didn't try the tempting puddings - hopefully to be rectified next time!

I love the idea of small plates for sharing and the selection at Limetree Kitchen was varied and delicious. Just right for lunch. The restaurant is small and simply decorated, informal and relaxed. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. This was our first visit and won't be our last.
