Been trying to get into The Eddy for a while and never had any luck so wasnt expecting to get in on my last weekend before moving to Thailand. Got a phone call on Saturday from the head chef and he had rearranged tables to accommodate us so we were finally going to experience what everyone has been raving about! We were certainly not let down! Everything was superb, we had a lamb, beef and veggie options and not a single thing left on anyone's plates!! Meats were just melt in mouth, tatties crispy on outside and fluffy in middle, yorkies bang on and the separate veg perfect along with the individual cauli cheeses.......and the gravy.....JUST WOW! Desserts were on the menu too and we had the sticky toffee pudding and a cheese board. Sticky toffee was amazing with a sublime toffee sauce and the cheese board was spot on offering a selection of local cheeses along with the black ash cheddar which is just out of this world. Keep up the good work Josh & the guys.

I visited here in July 2019 and the food and service was absolutely exceptional. Definitely the best roast in Brighton!

Josh and the team at the Eddy were superb yesterday in making my girlfriend and I feel welcome, and the food was on point. Beautiful beef, crispy potatoes, yorkshire was perfect and the seasonal veg was full of flavour. Recommended the crumble for dessert and loved it. Adventurous cooking, great atmosphere, a great Sunday.

I had read all the good reviews on the Brighton Sunday Roast Facebook page and came in last Sunday to see/taste for ourselves! I hadn’t been to the Eddy for some time and I had forgotten how much I liked it. The decor is lovely, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The roast dinner certainly lived up to the hype: really succulent roast chicken, beautiful rosy pink beef, crispy roast potatos and flavourful gravy. All the roasts came with a little ramekin of cauliflower cheese, which was the the best I have ever tasted, and dishes of carrots & greens came separately. We enjoyed it so much there was unfortunately no room for any of the spectacular sounding desserts, next time I will eat one less potato... maybe!!
