Our second visit to the Eddy for lunch on Sunday and very much looked forward to. The Eddy is a well run ship I can see. The Landlord is personable, warm and friendly. The pub presents an air of cosyness with just enough polish but not too much. We had Beef and Pork and both were just divine and succulent. Potatoes. Yorkshire, Cauli Cheese and vegetables were tasty and perfectly cooked and the gravy needs a page of adoration of its own. It's a plate of food you never want to end. We will be back..... soon. Thank you .

Wow. These guys have got the perfect roast absolutely nailed. Beautifully cooked beef sirloin, and stunning pork with two different kinds of crackling! Amazing roast potatoes that remained incredibly crisp even after 20 minutes of bathing in a wonderfully flavoured gravy. We loved the individual portions of cauliflower cheese that came with our meal, and the greens/veggies were excellent as well. Really homely atmosphere, and a lovely space to wile away a Sunday afternoon. We'll be back!

The food is sensational, but also matched by outstanding and attentive staff. No waiting around. Drinks came promptly. Everything perfect. Well done.

This was by far the best roast dinner I have had in Brighton and Hove, there were 4 of us dining and we all agreed. The roast is excellent, every element was amazing! The beef was rare and cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were insanely good and the cauliflower cheese was out of this world! The head chef also came out to check if we liked the food which was a really lovely touch. Highly recommend a visit here.
