The Ginger Pig is a contemporary, sophisticated yet easy-going venue offering a great atmosphere for both drinks and lunch/dinner. A friendly drinking venue together with honest, traditional food make this a great choice for an evening out. The Ginger Pig is an evolving project with an outdoor dining area for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

My corporate team and I came to The Ginger Pig on 21/05/2019 as an award for being the highest-performing team of the quarter. We were lucky enough to have the private room and enjoyed a sumptuous late lunch with impeccable service as the sunlight gleamed through the skylights and chilled house played in the background. It was a great experience and a fantastic special treat. We really enjoyed using the private courtyard afterwards too.

For such fancy food, The Ginger Pig is wholly unpretentious. It's a lovely, relaxed dining space, and the staff made us feel tremendously welcome. Very reasonably priced for what it was as well - we'll be back!

Seven of us ate lunch at the Ginger Pig on Sunday - five of us are vegetarians. The meat eaters had plates brimming with delicious vegetables including cauliflower cheese, broccoli, braised red cabbage, roast potatoes. The vegetarians had a small slab of what amounted to fried chickpea puree, four sticks of asparagus, three tomatoes , two slices of pickled walnut (not even whole walnuts!) and a couple of small spoonfuls of mozzarella - pathetic. We felt defrauded considering the price we paid. I would not recommend it. I have given two stars for food because the carnivores were very happy.
