The Gingerman Restaurant is a small, intimate restaurant close to Brighton's seafront with a simple yet focused philosophy: to create uncomplicated, full-flavoured food, made from the freshest and highest quality seasonal produce.

From the outside it is not particularly obvious it is a restaurant. The food is delicious without being too rich - I am not a fan of Michelin-starred cooking. The portions are perfect and the flavours exquisite. Gluten- and dairy-free diners are amply catered for with no lack of imagination (and no horrible after-effects). The waiters were exceptional but it is hard to describe why this is so. They make one want to return as much as the food and the quality of the wine.

Perfect experience from the moment we arrived until we left. Staff were lovely and food was absolutely marvellous, compliments to the chef(s)! Just wish I had enough room left for desert because they looked delicious as well. First time there but certainly won't be our last.
