The food was good but extremely expensive for what we had.

We had been meaning to pop in for some time being locals and are glad we finally made it. A warm welcome at the door, our request for a quieter table via the online booking system was acknowledged straight away with no fuss which was hugely appreciated. The food was explained to us thru out & the addition of the canape and warm breads while waiting on our starter was a nice touch. We were there on a Tuesday evening and had a great table in the window for two, the place quickly filled up with bookings and walk ins but was never too loud to impact conversation. Food was fresh and innovative and the service genuinely attentive, birthday treat at the end was a fun surprise. Will be back & definitely recommend.

Set lunch yesterday. Two choices for each course - £20 per person for three courses. There is no skimping at lunchtime, fresh bread, quality butters and pre-starters come as standard and are not charged for separately. The food is the same high quality as on the a la carte menu and beautifullly presented. It represents terrific value. Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming.
