A long wait for food.

Nice pub with plenty of seating, inside and out. Wait staff running around really busy, and polite, but our meal (2 courses for £10.99) plus a bottle of red wine, today took from 1.11pm until 2pm to arrive. As it was 1 cod & chips and one sausage & mash with 2 deserts, we didn’t see why there should be such a delay. We ordered a second bottle of red wine whilst we were ‘stuck’ there waiting for our food order which finally arrived, with warmish chips with the cod, and somewhat soggy onion rings with the sausage dish. So not very happy customers today, do hope this is not a typical offering from the plough as we live locally.
