The Gingerman Group
Chef Ben McKellar, together with wife and business partner Pamela McKellar, started the Gingerman Group in 1998 with their flagship restaurant, The Gingerman, close to the seafront in Brighton. They now have 4 Ginger sites that are without a doubt widely considered to be amongst the best restaurants in the Brighton area. The Gingerman Restaurant in Norfolk Square, Brighton is the flagship and original Gingerman site which opened in 1998. A small, intimate restaurant close to Brighton’s seafront. The Ginger Pig is a welcoming, contemporary, pub with a large dining area situated in the heart of Hove. The Ginger Dog is a local pub offering real ales, craft beers, and fine wines together with a good hearty menu of traditional pub food. The Ginger Fox is a friendly and relaxed restaurant in the rural setting of the South Downs, approx 7 miles outside of Brighton, serving high-quality, seasonal, Sussex produce; from local fish and meat, local ales, and award-winning wine from Ridgeview. In all Ginger restaurants, expect uncomplicated, full-flavoured food, made from the freshest, highest quality seasonal produce. Booking in advance is highly recommended.
