Grand Central Bar and Grill specialises in fresh authentic American meals, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The venue is designed remarkably like a New York contemporary restaurant with some fantastic Americana throughout each area. The menu focuses on classic American food including marinated ribs, toasted quesadillas, 100% beef burgers and some Tex-mex classics.

Excellent service, although to be fair the restaurant area was virtually empty. Waitress was polite, helpful and engaging. Food was very average with the Sirloin steak being served up luke warm, soggy skin on fries and limp wilted rocket. It had obviously been cooked too early then put to the side to await the rest of the order (3 other meals) If you cant get this right with an empty house what's it like when busy? Didn't complain as we were on a time limit for the theatre. Bottle of wine was good. Can't say I'd recommend or return but thanks anyway.

Good place for a drink and would not choose for dinner. Fajitas were way too salty and steak unevenly cooked.

I took my friends kids here for a pre panto dinner, and our waitress (sorry don’t know your name) was fabulous! She engaged the kids from the start, and got them doing activities while making sure they ate their food (promising a reward - sweets!) Thankyou for your care and attention ...

Luckily we weren't in a rush! 50 Mon wait between starter and main. We had our 4 year old with us who was really good waiting. When we went to the bathroom, she saw crayons and was most upset she hadnt been given any. Staff either hungover or dog tired as mistakes central! Order wrong, run out of ingredients, milkshake machine turned off, couldn't use it. Shame as the food, although the not what we ordered was nice. Wouldn't go back.

Nice restaurant, looked good, great service, great selection on the menu, starters good, main course - whilst my friend loved her burger I made the mistake of getting the ribs - to me, for good ribs the meat should be falling of the bone here it needed to me chiselled off - not good at all.
