Turkish food is about the fresh flavours of the Mediterranean that you find in coastal regions combined with spices and cooking techniques from the Middle East. Super service and clear rules on social distancing. Excellent outside space to sit in your bubble. I went with 2 friends and it was their first time out since lockdown had been eased and both felt very comfortable in the environment at The Angel. Also a fabulous selection of Gins.

very friendly bar, great selection of gins/beers/wines and soft drinks . spacious seating area outside. polite and well trained bar staff, very attentive and patient staff for the most choosy or even indecisive customers ....

Great beer, great atmosphere, we had two delicious pizzas here too.. Its a well organised, well run establishment with all government guidelines adhered too, you feel safe, you simply wouldn't know there's a pandemic in the world right now as the staff are so well trained in the new covid rules, it's like second nature to the team.. Its the perfect pub. Recommended in a heartbeat.

Had a lovely relaxed time and felt reassured with the measures in place for Covid-19. The staff are really friendly and the different ales they have on is always exciting to try. Unfortunately the pizza boys weren't on site so no food but still had a lovely time and enjoyed sampling the crisp flavours.
