Unfortunately, we found out that there was a limited menu (due to the Bank Holiday), on our arrival. The dishes we would have ordered were off the menu. Prior notice would have been appreciated. The food we had was nice and the service was very good. Not sure about value for money though on the small dessert, but it tasted lovely.

Excellent early evening dinner; we had the crab linguine and the moulles fritte which were both very good and plentiful, followed by a cheese board which we shared - this too was a good mix of soft and strong selections with a sharp and tangy chutney. We didn’t have wine on this occasion but I had a coupe of pints of Morretti and my better half had Prosecco by the glass … which she seemed to enjoy too. Great service and a lovely atmosphere also improved the overall experience - highly recommended!

The two young women front of house were delightful. I started with the oysters and followed with seafood linguine which was outstanding. Good pasta and plenty of plump prawns, mussels, cockles and scallops. No dessert, too satisfied already. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn’t fuller as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
