Koh Thai Tapas is defying conventions and has revolutionised Thai dining with their infectious blend of European indulgence and authentic Thai tastes. Koh Thai Tapas are also passionate about their unique aesthetic, at once informal and elegant, authentic and modern. So the designs set candlelit brickwork against Thai latticework, street-art murals against historic venues. Each Koh restaurant oozes its own personality and its own local charm. Koh Thai Tapas was born out of a desire to create a place where you would like to eat. A place where the holy flavours of Thai cuisine could be shared and sampled with fiery cocktails, far-flung beers and world-class music. A place at once authentic, beautiful, unpretentious, relaxed and refined. Although every venue is unique, with a successful blend between historic locations and fresh fusion design, Koh continues to deliver on exquisite food, drinks and that eclectic atmosphere, striving to hit the mark for the Complete Dining Experience.

Food and service were both excellent, this was my second visit, booked after a great meal the first time and I was not disappointed.

Second time at Koh Noi and the food is fantastic however, once we had been served it proved difficult to 'catch a waiters eye'. At one point both we and the table next to us could not attract the attention of the staff who were all behind the bar.

I was incredibly disappointed with both the food and the service at Koh Winchester. The food was heavy and stodgy with none of the lovely lightness and flavour of Thai cooking - we had tasteless chunks of tofu that were just like enormous soggy chips! We were served by a number of different people but none remembered to light the candle on the table, we were denied the tasting menu because one of our party didn’t want it, no one asked how our meal was except when the starter was cleared away, we waited ages for our bill and ages for the chance to ask for it, despite the restaurant not being busy, and when I said I was not going to be paying the service charge because I was not happy with the service the waiter gave no apology or explanation. The only good part of the meal was the excellent cocktail. We will not be returning to Koh because of this.

Arrived for our pre-booked table at 8:45 on Saturday evening. Restaurant was very busy and extremely noisy. After a 5 minute wait were shown to our table which was more of a miniature breakfast bar with high chairs. Were presented with our menus which were rather dirty - stained and sticky - and after a short while, decided to leave and find somewhere better. No idea what the food was like. Unlikely to go back. Please note: to provide a review, I have to rate food, service and value - we did not experience any of these, so these ratings should be disregarded.

Hi Martin. I would like to apologise that you were kept waiting at the bar on arrival. As you can imagine, Saturday nights are our busiest and we generally do a couple of sittings in the evening. We did have diners occupying the tables earlier in the evening and whilst these diners are always aware that the table is rebooked and we will need it back by a certain time, occasionally things do over run. Unfortunately on this occasion it took longer than expected for these diners to leave, and for the table to be relaid ready for you, and with regards to the table itself, we would of been more than happy for you to choose a different table had it been bought to our attention. The music we play and the volume it is played at goes hand in hand with the ambience and ethos of our company brand. Whilst individual sites can sometimes be louder than others due to larger groups and capacity, the management must adhere to the companies policies regarding the music to ensure continuity is present. I am terribly sorry that on this occasion you felt the need to leave, the issues you have mentioned will be rectified as a matter of priority. I sincerely hope you give us another chance as offering the Complete Dining Experience is essential to our company ethos and we strive to ensure that this is shown across all our restaurants at all times.
Kindest Regards
Lora and the Koh Team

Really nice food, good choice and service; and a nice eating atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.
