The Pig in The New Forest is all about the walled garden. Everything is driven by the gardener, forager and chef - they grow and find the food, the chef then creates the menu (what they cannot get from the garden and grounds is sourced locally). Uncomplicated and simple British garden food, true to the micro seasons and influenced by the forest and coast, with the emphasis squarely on fresh, clean flavours, served in an authentically reproduced Victorian greenhouse dining room, complete with bare wood table tops and mismatched bone handled cutlery.
