Arrived mid afternoon and ordered. Drinks took a while to come despite it being relatively quiet. Partner ordered a Birra Moretti and was served a Peroni without explanation as to why the drink was different. Lucky my partner isn’t one to make a fuss but it was just disappointing. Ordered chicken but was then spoken to by a man I can only assume was the manager. He informed us there was no chicken left and implied it was our fault due to not booking for opening time. I can very much understand that chicken is probably the best seller but maybe work on your people skills. When we were served the waitress asked if we would like sauces, told her what we would like and then waited until she served the neighbouring table 5 minutes later and remembered she had forgotten our sauces. (There were two tables eating at this point- total of 5 people) Whole experience was just underwhelming to be completely honest.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The lamb shanks were incredible and the desserts (cheesecake and choc fudge cake) were heavenly. Fantastic waiter also who tended to every need.

This event was an afternoon tea to celebrate an 80th Birthday. The food was delicious and so much of it. Very friendly and helpful.

I've lived in the area for quite a while and often driven passed this restaurant and thought that I must go there sometime. Well this Sunday we finally did and we were not disappointed. We ate at 12 to avoid the inevitable rush and I'm glad we did. By the time we left all of the tables in the main part were full including at least one large party. That said the food quality and service were excellent. The staff were very attentive and the food served promptly. It was also excellent value for money and we will definitely return. Thanks again to all of the staff on duty.
