Having gained experience working in other local restaurants, Paolo and Carla Magnolia established La Magnolia in 2008 and, just a year later, the restaurant went on to win Best Italian Restaurant in the Kent Restaurant Awards. La Magnolia offers an intimate dining experience, with the option of al fresco dining. Heavily influenced by his Neapolitan roots, Paolo is the creative influence behind La Magnolia's menus. Combining authentic ingredients, bought directly from Italy, with locally sourced meat, fish and fresh produce, each dish is prepared from scratch to the highest standard. Paolo and Carla cook the food they love to eat and they are passionate about using only the finest ingredients, delivered just hours before they end up on your table. Inspired by his cultural heritage, Paolo uses techniques and recipes passed down through his family whilst embracing modern styles and ingredients to produce a menu that is exciting, colourful and mouth-watering. Specialities at La Magnolia include a wide range of pizzas with natural leavening dough and a secret recipe from their pizzaiolo. Cooked in the traditional fire burning oven to ensure the perfect conditions to create the classic, tasty crusts. Seafood dishes are made only with sustainably caught produce and the extensive range of meat dishes can be cooked on the grill or in a variety of sauces.
