PizzaExpress is all about a passion and the love of food made fresh, simply, with the highest quality ingredients. So in their kitchens there are no fryers, no microwaves. Just an oven. The restaurant was originally a foundry where many of the city's leaded windows were created. Some features within the restaurant such as the inglenook fireplaces date back to the 14th century. Overlooking the River Stour and nestling in a secluded garden, there is a cosy lounge area with an open fire. There are two separate dining areas that can cater for large parties, functions or business meetings and the main dining area overlooks the river and also has an open fire.
