We have been going to Shampan for 15 years now, but our latest visit was so out of character! The service which is usually top notch was far from fair, when asked to take our leftovers in a doggy bag, was only given rice and onion Bajis , not the curry. Didn’t even notice until we weee home as we were rushed out, I’m guessing another table booking, but we hadn’t even had our 2 hours as the table states! The food was so good and we know that it’s usually a good service. I just hope this is a one off!

You have proven yet again that your curry is worth the long drive from Rochester. My man loved and enjoyed his Father's Day dinner from his favourite Indian restaurant. Thanks Shampan Welling branch. Keep it up!

The ambiance is terrible, bright lights, tables all in a canteen style row with kids brushing past our table several times. Worst of all was the music…. 90’s mega mixes, including techno and Mariah’s Christmas song - in June! Won’t be returning unfortunately.

Excellent service, everything is so clean & atmosphere relaxing & calm, everything you expect from an Indian restaurant. I had the meat thali, it was one of the best meals I’ve EVER had, can’t wait to visit again.
