The Mulberry Tree is a contemporary country restaurant and bar with a relaxed, informal atmosphere, excellent food, wine and service. It is set in the beautiful Kent countryside, only 4 miles from Staplehurst and has been extended and modernised to offer a restaurant and bar seating 75 guests. There is also a sunny terrace and garden for al fresco dining. The restaurant features in the current Michelin Guide and has been awarded two AA Rosettes. The cuisine style is 'modern British & European' using seasonal, free-range and organic produce that is sourced from local suppliers from within The Weald of Kent, in what really is The Garden of England. The philosophy is to offer value for money, using only the best ingredients. There is a menu that changes daily, together with a set-menu that offers unbeatable value for money. The set menu is available Tuesday through Saturday lunch and Tuesday through Friday dinner. On Sundays there is also a set menu available that is priced at £20.95 for 2 courses and £23.95 for 3 courses. There is an extensive wine list that includes many New World wines from smaller vineyards, together with the more well-known names, including English wines. Most of the wines are served by the glass and there is a full selection of beers, both draught and bottled available, together with locally sourced, organic soft drinks. The Mulberry Tree has become synonymous with first class food & service, an ethos that has been carried through into the outside catering and event management service also provided by The Mulberry Tree.

We really enjoyed the Michael Buble Tribute Evening. There was a lovely atmosphere and the food and service was excellent. We were very impressed with Jason Allen Sway's performance. We had a great time with our friends and would definitely like to visit again!

Another great evening

An enjoyable evening with good food, and although a bit disappointed with turkey meat, the remainder was good. Entertainment was great and considering there were only 20 people he circled the tables for the first half and interacted as "Michael". Opportunity to dance which is rare these days, and would certainly come to another Tribute evening. Just a bit far out for us to come regularly but will try a Jazz Sunday in the summer.

It was a really enjoyable evening our food was lovely just a couple of niggles, when your staff are serving at tables which are difficult to get around a polite “ excuse me please” as they reach in front of a guest with plates etc would be more acceptable than just barging in front. A bit of a shock when your not expecting it, also please can your bottles of water be chilled, it would be so much nicer. Other than that you always do a wonderful fun evening. Happy Christmas and a good 2019 we will return Kind regards
