The Dirty Habit
Set on The Pilgrims Way in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, with many walks and bike rides from the pub, The Dirty Habit has been used by pilgrims on their way to Canterbury for centuries. It is reputed that King James II stayed at the inn whilst on his way to France via Canterbury and Dover. Full of period charm and character this delightful inn has undertaken a complete restoration of the building, keeping the unique period features intact.
On offer is a varied selection of freshly prepared food available all day, both traditional English as well as continental specialities using local suppliers whenever possible to support the local farming community.
For those special occasions, The Dirty Habit can offer a private dining service in a beautiful period room 'The Monks Corner' with oak beams to the apex and an inglenook fireplace to set it all off.
