The restaurant is elegant and has been designed to be warm and inviting. Founded around 1350, Ayuthaya became the second capital of Siam after Sukhothai. Throughout the centuries Ayutthaya was known as the trading capital of Asia and even the world because it was central to all Asian countries. By 1700 Ayutthaya had become the largest city in the world with a total of 1 million inhabitants.
