Salt House Spanish Tapas is led by an English team who can't speak Spanish but love everything about the lifestyle and food of Spain. Patrick and Martin were the food team behind the first 10 years of ego restaurants and have decided to go out on their own. In the old Bishop of Liverpool's residence they have created a modern, urban tapas bar where the focus is on the little things that make the big things work and as a result have successfully managed to create the authentic style of a local neighbourhood tapas bar in Spain. The perfect destination for a cold beer and a bowl of olives, selection of tapas or Sunday paella. Any bad cook can ruin fantastic ingredients. Salt House Tapas is all about contemporary tapas plates, hand carved Ibérico hams, bar snacks and fantastic puddings. Wines are sourced from the best Spanish vineyards, including stunning Cava's, modern Sherries and a selection of hand-picked south American wines. If you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a special occasion or just want to earn some brownie points Paddy & Martin will gladly organise a hand-made, personalised cake, bespoke flowers or write a menu specific to the occasion.
