Prime at The Edith Cavell is located in the historic part of Norwich, tucked away in the historic area of Tombland, a 5-minute walk from Norwich Cathedral. Main events on offer are prime-cut steaks served on a sizzling hot stone, allowing the meat to finish cooking at the table to your preference, and a selection of grilled seafood. The ambience is relaxing and there is also a downstairs bar serving a good selection of real ales, continental beers & wines, as well as light snacks & nibbles.

Have been several times and it never fails to impress. Great food, and excellent service - it can get noisy & smokey when the restaurant is full, but that’s the nature of the beast. We went early so it wasn’t an issue. Always happy to recommend this restaurant

Myself & my partner came to prime for the first time on Sunday, after hearing my family rave about it so much. We were so impressed by the food, staff & environment! Love that it's quaint and cosy inside, only seating around 28 (that's at a guess) customers max. The food was incredible, to the point we were so full, but just wanted to keep on eating and were gutted we couldn't finish it all! The staff were so lovely, friendly and couldn't do anymore for you. We can't wait to come back, thank you!

Went for my partners birthday. Steak was lovely, we had the fillet. Service was really good to. But other than that we wasn’t blown away with it.

The food was delicious and love Cooking the steel to how you like it at the table yourself. Was able to have a laugh and joke with the waitress. Dessert was gorgeous and we will coming back again

I would highly recommend eating here, the food is amazing and the service from the staff is excellent! I also have to say that the chips are the best I have ever tasted.
