Bill's Muswell Hill is a light and airy space. In keeping with the Bill’s vibe, it has an industrial-meets-shabby chic feel, and there is a pretty outdoor terrace for when the sun is shining. Bill Collison, founder of Bill's, opened the first Bill's in Lewes, East Sussex, in 2001. Built on the same site where Bill had been running a successful greengrocery for several years, Bill's Café & Produce Store, as it was then known, was an instant success. The aim was to make a place that was colourful and exuberant, with dishes that were really tasty and also made you smile, that put every day and unusual seasonal ingredients together and gave everyone lots of ideas to take home with them. The team at Bill's baked, cooked and served deliciously different food, hung skeins of raffia from the ceiling, stacked towers of produce for people to buy and hired lively, enthusiastic staff to look after their customers. They wanted Bill's to be somewhere that really celebrated food and was welcoming to everyone, a place that felt like the next best thing to home. Breakfast at Bills is a great way to start your day; from a humble bacon or sausage sandwich to a bells-and-whistles super classic great British breakfast. Weekends are a different story, time to kick back and turn breakfast into brunch, complete with newspapers, freshly squeezed orange juice and plenty of tea or coffee.

Just visited Bills for breakfast! Never again! Nothing good to say! Coffee not even hot. Breakfasts were dry over cooked eggs inedible mushrooms! The spicy beans ! No spice! At all. Over cooked eggs 6 small diced sausage prices the size of diced pancetta! Total rip-off. No don’t advise anyone to have a breakfast at Bills

lovely relaxing brunch on a Saturday morning. Table outside in the sun was perfect. Friendly, polite service and the food hit the spot.

Took my wife here for a quick mid-shopping birthday lunch. I'd never been to Bills before but will definitely be going back. Amazing service from start to finish and really great grub! I highly recommend the chicken burger and sweet potato fries! The waitress was even kind enough to let my wife know about a certain dessert choice due to my wife being pregnant. Staff really went above and beyond considering we were only there for a quick cheap lunch! They also brought out my wifes dessert all singing along to Happy Birthday which made my day, but not my wifes! Haha It's a very family friendly place so I don't think it's a very 'romantic' place to go, but it has got character! Sort of like a 'cool/trendy' version of TFI Fridays. 10/10!!!

The service couldn't be faulted - friendly and attentive, lots of choice on the menu even for vegetarians, drinks menu is diverse even lots of non alcoholic options, the food is well presented, good quality, modern and a little different to what you get everywhere else. Prices very reasonable. Really enjoyable. Will be back.
