The Sun Inn Hardingstone

The Sun Inn is a traditional pub located in the heart of Hardingstone Village, with a real sense of community. As any good village local, this pub has a traditional feel to the décor, with a slight modern twist, in keeping with the times and is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, relax and unwind with the papers. In the colder months, the traditional fire places are very warming and for some, a choice of 'Whiskey tapas' is the perfect remedy. For guests who enjoy real ales, there are 6 on offer – 2 of which are usually local brews. The patio garden is an absolute favourite to sit and enjoy food and drink in the sunshine, providing plenty of umbrellas for those that need shade. BBQ food is available in the summer months. There is also an outdoor children's play area for the little ones to explore and parents can relax with the safe self-contained environment.

BEST BURGER & TRIMMINGS EVER !!

Stopped halfway through a 250 mile journey home from Somerset & therefore took a chance on lunch at this roadside restaurant in Stratford upon Avon country. My wife & I opted for a burger lunch at this very historic inn and were incredibly impressed by their chef`s interpretation of what is normally a very basic meal in the UK. The meat & ham in the burger, not to mention the fries & other trimmings were cooked to a level which converted the plate into a veritable gastronomic paradise. If this is an example of the Stag`s menu as a whole, we feel very jealous of those living locally who can take regular advantage of such impressive fare!
