Seven Stars on the Green

Seven Stars is a 400 year old coaching inn that has been rescued from closure and possible redevelopment by the local community. In November 2012 the doors closed once again on the Seven Stars, for the fourth time in 10 years and set the ball rolling onto how the pub looks today. A committee was formed, shares bought, locals engaged and thus the doors of the pub re-opened once again on March 30th 2013. Since re-opening, the pub also redeveloped an existing barn into a restaurant, giving guests a comfortable space in which to dine, as well as direct access to the garden. This beautiful village pub is set right next to the largest village green in Europe and with a large garden, this is the perfect space for all to enjoy. On offer is a traditional British pub inspired food menu that includesa few excellent specials, taking inspiration from seasonal produce and typical British pub dishes. There is also a great range of well kept beer, including a large selection of local ales and an inspired wine and spirit selection. Dogs are welcome too and don't worry if you have wellies or walking boots on, this is a country pub after all! During the winter months enjoy the cosy fire, always on to keep away the cold.
