From the Beautiful floral displays adorning the exterior through to the classy interior decor with the most quirky light fittings (Made bespoke by the proprietors hubby we were reliably informed!) and then outside into a small but perfectly formed alfresco dining and drinks space the initial feel and impression of this hidden establishment was fabulous. We had a delicious meal, Perfectly cooked scallops to start for me and the Pate for my lunch date, (Generous helping of pate which resulted in having some left and running out of Brioche, but that was no problem as they promptly offered me some more, as they did with the chutney!) followed by the most amazing roast pork belly with Garlic mash (I thought I had died and gone to heaven!) and Black Boy Fish and Chips which were perfectly cooked with the batter crisp, golden, delicious and light. The mashed peas with mint were so good I would have bought a years supply had they had a take away menu! Quite full but unable to resist dessert we opted to share a sticky toffee pudding which again, blew our minds! We had such a lovely time that we didn't want to leave so decided to retreat to the seating area by the fire for coffees to finish our superb experience at this delightful establishment. Oh, I almost forgot, the staff here couldn't have been more efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The wine list was none to shabby either! All of this and still change from £90! We will most definitely be back.
