The Eyston Arms sits in the middle of the oldest part of the historic village of East Hendred at the foot of the Ridgeway, just off the A417 between Wantage and Rowstock. In 2003 George and Cargie Dailey completed the total refurbishment of the Eyston Arms. Guests are greeted with a huge log fire, a rustic Cotswold flagstone floor, a series of cartoons of regular customers, simple polished tables and comfortable leather upholstered chairs. Daisy Barton has long been the face of the Eyston Arms and her vivacious personality drives the success of the pub that has received several awards and accolades in recent years.
