Spanish food and drink is very varied and regional. At Camino, the chefs use premium seasonal ingredients to create bold, fresh and exciting tapas inspired by their travels. Unsurprisingly many of the ingredients are sourced from Spain, and this combined with authentic cooking techniques and Basque Country grills means that the food taste just as good as if you were in Spain. Spain is one of the most exciting, innovative and dynamic wine regions in the world, and this is proudly showcased at Camino. As with the food, the wines are sourced from across the country. A truly authentic experience is all in the details, and that is why you will also find some of Spain’s best beers, freshly mixed cocktails from the finest Spanish licores, and a variety of good, strong coffees served just like they do it in Spain. Camino Bankside is tucked away behind the Tate Modern. Full of natural light by day, and softly lit for an intimate mood by night, opening onto a large outdoor terrace perfect for a drink or two on long summer evenings. There is also an impressive jamón counter, with a selection of impeccable quality Ibérico black pig hams professionally carved by one of the highly trained cortador de jamón. The restaurant is open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. At weekends there is a Bottomless Brunch - tapas with bottomless cava.
