Excellent pub. Great Staff, friendly & efficient. Sunday Lunch to die for. Happy pub with welcoming atmosphere. Get yourself down to the pub quiz on a Wednesday evening (every other week).

Onion Bhaji starter was burnt to a frazzle, sent it back and the replacement was also burnt. Had roast beef main course which was awful. The beef seemed old, and definitely not freshly carved, the potatoes were tough and tasted as if they had been cooked the day before, the vegetables were soggy and unpalatable. To cap it all the whole meal was only lukewarm. Also the service was not very good. Definitely would not recommend. Possible reason is change of management, so they need to drastically improve. It’s a shame because it’s a very nice location!
