The Blues Kitchen (Brixton)

The Blues Kitchen is a restaurant, late night bar and music venue with DJs, Texan BBQ & Cajun food and live rhythm & blues music 7 nights a week. Music does play a big part at The Blues Kitchen, with live artists playing everything from rock 'n' roll to swing, motown, roots and gospel, as well as blues, where food and music combine in perfect and happy harmony. An in-house barbecue, with meats smoked over fruit woods in their own fire pit, is kept busy and serves popular favourites such as beef brisket, smoked chicken, short beef ribs and burnt ends glazed with a beer and hickory barbecue sauce. Burgers, chilli, lobster, gumbo and a catfish jambalaya also feature on the menu.
