We went to the Bletchingley Arms for my dad’s 65th birthday and all had a wide range of food from the menu, which was all delicious! A lovely dine out and great service, thank you!

Great staff and service, let down by food

The staff are great, kind, welcoming and attentive. Sadly the food was not good. Fish and chips - fish was gloopy on the inside of the batter which meant it was not appetising. Either the batter was too think and wasn’t cooked long enough or something else. I didn’t east two thirds of this Fajitas - this was a chicken breast cut into strips. Fajitas are usually strips of their own fully marinated and then cooked. This just seemed like a lazy solution. The chicken itself was dry and over cooked Kids beef burger - my kid usually polishes burgers but he left two thirds of this and just said it wasn’t nice. Given the quality of the other dishes I needn’t ask any further Strawberry milkshake - was very similar to nesquick strawberry powder with milk. I wasn’t expecting a ShakeShack level milkshake but at least comparable to McDonalds Overall, I’d visit here for drinks but not for food.

Service was slow, waited an hour for food.
