Tasty food and great service. The restaurant area is well presented and comfortable and toilets are clean with extra attention to detail such as providing nice hand wash and hand lotion and plenty of loo roll!

The starter and the main course seem to have been cooked to a totally different criteria, we had such high hopes as the starters were delicious. For the main courses we had 14 oz steak and the pork, my husband said the beef was overcooked and tough (poor quality), bordering on inedible (not cheap either). My pork was tasteless and rubbery almost like reconstituted pork. I wondered if the meat had been pre-prepared and then bunged in the microwave to reheat. The carrots were nice but the broccoli was hard and undercooked and so were the roast potatoes (why were they not nice and crispy at this time, we thought this may be one of the advantages of dining late). The Yorkshires were tasteless so possible also not freshly made. Our table was booked for 3.30 pm as we could not get a table for earlier so we thought the atmosphere would be buzzing but no, we sat in an empty off shoot to the main area for most of the time overlooking the main road on a tiny table when we really could have sat on a larger table and spread out a bit. I could go on , the bill was higher then expected (the drinks were not cheap) , anyway we will not return, pity as it looks promising.

We like to spend Sunday's having lunch at The Bletchingly Arms, the Menu is very good, plus The Sunday Menu and Specials are always very tasty. Apart from great food we love the atmosphere there and the whole team are very friendly and professional, our Waitress, Ella, was really good too.
