Will not rate the food in this rating but the staff who had a awful night with some travelling community. Four grown men acting like children with there partners and children. I believe they where told to leave and on leaving empty the salt pots over the tables,then one decided to block the toilet sink and turn on the tap then left. This flooded the toilet and it run onto the carpet. The staff where great cleaned it all up with out a fuzz .Yes it spoilt our night and put us of our meal but I was not the venues fault. We will be back as it is our favourite place to eat.

Booked to have the carvery, it was a bit disappointing. Roast potatoes were very pale and not crispy which I could ignore if they tasted good. Everything else was ok, the Yorkshire pudding was good. Myself and other diners had to go up and pay at the bar as most of the staff seemed to be servicing the garden. Not the usual experience we get from a barons pub

Lovely helpful booking adjustments which was a relief for me. Great setting, cheerful service and scrumptious food - plenty of it as well.

I had my husbands 40th there and truly was a wonderful event - the venue was so pretty and so perfect and it just made my husbands day even more so perfect . The food is amazing and staff all so helpful so thank you for making his party amazing

As usual we had a friendly greeting and our lunch was served in reasonable time, even though the Cricketers was very busy with lunchtime customers. The food was well up to the usual standards and we will certainly be coming again.
