It was our first visit here and we went due to having Kids Week Theatre tickets so got 20% off the total bill. The ribs were delicious - great offer £10 for full rack, fries and 'slaw - really great. Our children loved the children's ribs also and said the burger was 'the best ever'. They were a bit disappointed with the small starter of cucumber sticks and hummus and no choice of pudding except the ice lolly (which they both loved though!) But perfect really for £5 and the right amount of food for them. Service was really good - our waiter was funny as whenever we asked a question he would answer it but while on the move as though he couldn't stop! Made us laugh anyway!

We have been many many times before. Yesterday was meh...... portions have shrunk. Chips were cold and stale. Kids meals have changed- a pathetic starter & rubbish ice lolly?! - my daughter had the burger- rather than make her a small burger she had a burnt 1/2 bitten adult burger- it was gross! I know you can’t control customers - but a lot were using it more as a bar: drunk and shouting at the football screen. They need to up their game as there is a lot of competition!!

We were at Bodeans yesterday for my daughter's birthday. We have to travel an hour to get there but my daughter loves the food so was happy to go. The guy that served us was friendly & smiled, which you don't always get in restaurants anymore. My Sprite tasted funny so I let the staff know, they took it away & said they'd change the syrup, which they did, & brought me a fresh one. I had the beef burnt ends & my daughter had the pork ones, which were both fantastic - the meat just melts in your mouth. The only downside for me was the fries, as they were quite hard, like they had been overcooked or cooked first then left too long on a hot plate. My son had the chicken wings from the kids menu & loved it. I think the kids menu is great value for money. We'll definitely visit again.

The portions became exceptionally small, especially for the combo meals, and definitely didn’t have the quality it used to have. It was more like re-heated leftovers than anything else.
