We visited for my daughters birthday lunch with family. I booked in advance on line, adding notes to the booking asking if any candles or nice touches could be added for my daughter’s birthday, but when I turned up on the day an hour before my booking, there was no record or recognition of this. I then asked if this were possible of the guy waiting to seat people who said they may not have candles, but would do what they could which was fine as I understand they are not obliged to do this. When we returned later for our booked slot, we were seated upstairs and the staff were very pleasant and attentive without being too much. My mother was concerned about jalapeños in one of the burgers and so discussed with the waitress if it were possible to have it without - this was confirmed as being ok. We then ordered our drinks while the rest of us decided. The waitress then returned to take our orders and brought the drinks and was pleasant and courteous. A short while after, the staff brought out the burger for my mother, but no-one else’s food. I gave it a few moments and then asked where ours was - it transpired that they'd placed my mother’s order with the kitchen before everyone else’s at the time when she'd asked about the burger – didn’t seem to occur to them that we’d all want to eat at the same time, which seemed very odd. When it came to desserts, I waited for as long as I could before having to remind them in front of my daughter that it was her birthday and we'd requested something twice already. It did take them a while to cotton on and subsequently didn't charge for the dessert which was very good of them. When the bill arrived, they had not removed the special offer discount that I'd mentioned at the time of ordering which just added to the whole hassle. The food is lovely, the staff are very sweet, but you do get the impression that the training for staff lacks some refinement and common sense. Had it not been a birthday, it might not have mattered so much but still feel a bit let down especially given we’d made the effort to ask/book things in advance. Unlikely to be back, but wish them all the luck.

All the staff we had contact with were just the right level of personable without pushy. Very efficient and friendly. We like the decor. We shared artichoke dip with bread to start. Yum. Then both had ribs with fries & slaw for main course. Big portions (yippee) of falling off the bone, succulent meat. I prefer my rib sauce on the sweeter/fruity side, whereas this was on the spicy side, but that's just a preference. Dessert we shared was the brownie with froyo. Not that we needed a big portion (already stuffed) but I think it's a bit small for the price. This is our 2nd time here & will deffo be back.

Food very tasty waitress very nice and friendly only issue is with a slight infexiability with the menu and cocktails for example you can't change vodka which I don't like for a white rum something to do stock control whereas they should have been honest and said the cocktails are pre mixed but all in all very enjoyable and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

I found Limeyard online while looking for a new restaurant close by with reasonable prices. They didn't disappoint - great service, delicious food (I had the miso salmon) and I loved the design & atmosphere of the place. Would definitely come again.

Food served fast, good food for value, good atmosphere. Took a while to get the bill together.
