Wimsey's restaurant in Parsons Green offers quality food, expertly cooked, from the very best ingredients locally sourced and British where possible. Owner Gwyn Rees-Sheppard has worked for some years in London restaurants before spending several years in Italy. His Italian experience served only to increase his love of British food and, while he enjoyed, and still enjoys, Italian cooking, what struck him most was the dedication of Italian people to their local cuisine and this he intends to emulate at Wimsey's. The menus are seasonal and there are special dishes each week to reflect what is on offer in the markets. Wimsey's aim is to showcase British dishes with a contemporary twist, so you can taste the flavours of Britain.
