Baloos, located just outside Henfield on the Wheatsheaf Road, is the creation of chef and restaurateur Chris and Amanda, who believe in selecting the best local and seasonal food from the surrounding area to bring you the very freshest flavours of Sussex including meat from Hurstpierpoint, seafood from Brighton and wine from Southdown Cellars Sussex Vineyards Chef Chris Coombes is a true believer that fresh, local produce is the essential ingredient of any great meal. But that these ingredients can sometimes be enhanced by using modern cooking techniques or exciting flavours drawn from today's multi-cultural society, to create an imaginative twist. The food is complemented by the atmosphere created by Amanda and her team. When you first walk through the front door, the warmth of the open fire is matched by the warmth of the greeting.
