The ginger fox is open on Monday evening when many other restaurants aren’t which is great. Had a good meal, but quite expensive overall.

We visited here for the first time after attending a Fathers Day event nearby. We were promptly seated and served which was welcomed after a very wet and cold morning spent outdoors. There wasn’t an abundance of choice however as you’d expect on a Sunday there was the choice of 3 roasts and 2 veggie options. We opted for roast; one lamb and one beef. Our daughter opted for macaroni cheese. The meal was served promptly and on the whole was lovely - the variety was lovely and the beef was tasty too. Personally, the roast potatoes could have been more crunchy. They were soggy as if sat in gravy too long. Apart from that, if we found ourselves in the area again we would consider going back.

Celebrated our son's 17th birthday and fathers day yesterday at the Ginger Fox. Was such a lovely evening. The atmosphere was very relaxed, food exceptionally good and the service very attentive, genuine and friendly. Thanks to all for a great memory.
