My friends and I were somewhat disappointed with our lunch time visit yesterday. We chose the festive menu and the food had obviously been standing around for some time. Roast potatoes hard. Yorkshire puddings brittle and in general the food was not more than luke warm. We did tell the waiter and he said he’d tell the chef. A bit late for us! Chocolate mousse would have been better to have been mousse and not with the solid piece of banana bread. Not value for money. I had a far better lunch at The Bolney Stage today and the total bill for like for like number of courses was £20 less.

Nice welcome and good service but the meal from the Festive Menu was only average a disappointment compared to my last visit, it almost tasted of reheat, however the dessert was very good hope this was just a blip.

Hello. 6 of us attended from work for our spa-rty. The entire experience was excellent and the food divine. I was impressed as the vegan menu for one of our team was brilliant (usually its just tomato and lettuce options). The staff were helpful and the meal was not rushed at all, we actually lost track of the time! A wonderful experience with lots of fantastic memories to enjoy. Thank you

Our complaint re: starter was accepted with good grace and we were adequately compensated. The rest of our dining experience and service were first class.
