Each dish is individually prepared to order using only the finest ingredients. Owner, Hussein Ahmed has over 20 years’ experience in the restaurant trade both here and in London. Formerly at the Tamarind Tree in Theale, new Chef, Harun Rashid brings over 15 years’ experience cooking the finest Indian cuisine. This renews an old partnership as Harun has previously worked with Hussein in London. Hussein is proud that Spice was the first Indian Restaurant in Newbury and Thatcham to bring a more modern feel to the restaurant. This is in contrast to their style of cooking, using traditional, authentic methods to prepare innovative, mouth-watering dishes using spices and sauces that have been created by them to give a range of unique flavours.
