The Churchill Arms

At the Churchill Arms we focus on great quality drinks including a good selection of lagers, real ales which change throughout the seasons plus an extensive gin, whisky and wine list. We have updated the pub and restaurant creating a modern welcoming atmosphere whilst retaining the original feel of the pub.

Authentic Thai Cuisine
Thai food is internationally famous, whether for its fiery chilli or its complex combinations of aromatic spices all made with fresh ingredients. The guiding principle in each dish is always harmony of flavours and this is the principle we have followed when crafting this menu.

At Fat Buddha Thai, we have created a menu that brings in the most popular and well-known dishes and cook these in a traditional way. Alongside this, we have some of the more authentic and contemporary Thai dishes from all over the country.

Well, we as with others today found a discrimination policy by management, regardless of the policy the brewery states on website. So if you are a person of colour, LGBT, disabled or have an ethical dietary requirements, you will not be welcome here by the notice on their door that belongs to the 20th century country thinking. We are in the 21st century, right... this venue clearly isn't The Dorset Inn on 26th Dec broke the 2010 Equality Act - and even the manager has make his opinion on vegans very clear before this fiasco.
