Lovely venue

The restoration and refit of the pub is A1. It is really special, with attention paid to every detail. The staff where very friendly and efficient. The main chef was away when we visited so the menu was reduced. Food was good and well presented, above standard for a pub (except for the steak which was very disappointing, tasteless and poor quality meat) Also need more veggie options. Will definitely go again though as everything good apart from the steak (only reason marked as average).

This is a great village pub/restaurant. I had the beer battered fish and chips which was delicious, the cod was really light and very fresh, pudding was out of this world. It's a lovely friendly place offering good food and excellent service. I will definitely be going back there.
