Tyddyn Llan is an elegantly appointed Georgian house set in the peaceful Vale of Edeyrnion at the eastern gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. It is one of those unbelievably relaxing places where you can sink into soft sofas after a day spent exploring the beautiful surroundings. Tyddyn Llan is all about subtle flavours and an uncompromising attitude to sourcing the finest, freshest ingredients. Tyddyn Llan is now considered to be one of Wales' finest restaurants boasting a Michelin Star. They are committed to using only the highest quality seasonal ingredients, many of which arrive daily from a local network of suppliers. Meat and game are sourced from local estates, and the majority of fish comes direct from the Welsh coastline. Lunch and Dinner menus are adapted daily to reflect the availability of the day's ingredients. Although Tyddyn Llan are committed to sourcing as much Welsh produce as possible, they look further afield for diver caught scallops from Scotland, Somerset smoked eel, Buffalo mozzarella flown in from Naples and Label Anglais chickens from Wyndham Farm. Tyddyn Llan boasts an amazing wine list featuring wines from all the leading wine producing countries of the world, many of which are sourced from little known wineries with small productions where the proprietor is actively involved in the wine making. The wine list is constantly evolving as they continue tasting new wines and searching out the best balance between quality and cost to keep the choice of 250 wines alive and interesting.
