Crows Nest Inn (Liskeard)

The Crows Nest Inn is a beautiful 16th Century white washed building situated in the hamlet of Crows Nest. Located on the Eastern edge of Bodmin Moor, surrounded by old mine engine houses and ancient relics such as Trethevy Quoite, The Cheese Wring and the Hurlers. There is a large open fire burning throughout the winter months which is a welcome sight to many cold travellers and on sunny days, there is a lovely sun trap garden in front of the pub with lots of seating. The Crows Nest offers a large car park and welcome both families and dogs. Horses are also welcome with their riders with tie up and step facilities at the side of the car park.

Called one lunchtime food was gorgeous salad was delicious with tuna , steak sandwich with cheesey chips perfect. Went with a party of six for an evening meal starter was fine , two of us had overcooked fish and cold chips one had burger with cold round chips, one had a trio of fish with two fish , and finally one had chicken pie with a few tiny bones in it ,and one had morocan salad chicken was nice salad was very poor .

We came to Cornwall for a break needed some home pub food this is how pubs used to be lovely old pub the food was excellent had a burger as a butcher I’m always looking for a good one this was excellent thank you my wife had fish and chips also excellent
