The Borough Arms
The Borough Arms has a welcoming atmosphere and offers a creative menu, specials board and carvery, and enjoys a well-earned reputation for its fresh pub food and family friendly menu, making very good use of the best local Cornish produce from sea and land. Food is served throughout the pub and outside on the patio, the children’s playing area and to the benches by the hedge, providing a relaxing environment.
Built in the 1850's to service the trains that took china clay from the moor down to the port at Padstow, The Borough Arms is a traditional pub situated within easy reach of Bodmin and Wadebridge and sited directly upon the Camel Trail; a disused railway line that runs from Bodmin to Padstow which is popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The trail is accessed from the large car park at the end of the pub and is free to use and open all year round.
