John Gater, founder of Coal Grill & Bar has a burning desire to bring great quality cuts from field to table that do not cost the earth. The concept is simple: fresh ingredients cooked over hot coals or served scorching from a stone oven. John believes flavours are best when bold, interesting and healthy. There is a wide range of dishes – from spectacular sharers to stunning signature firesticks and mouth wateringly delicious desserts. The restaurant is located on the corner of Princesshay's main piazza. Over two floors, you can enjoy views of the cathedral and relax in the very busy cocktail bar. The outside seating area is open all year round.
